Host Employers

Host employers are an important part of the Trust's apprenticeship program.  Without them the apprentices could not receive the on job training, work experience and professional guidance that are all part of any apprenticeship.

Host employers are professionally qualified plumbers, gasfitters and drainlayers who also have the willingness and ability to pass on their knowledge and train others in their areas of expertise.

This enables them to have Trust apprentices placed with them, and for those apprentices to learn "on the job" from these registered tradespeople.  

As an approved host employer you may have one or more Trust apprentices placed with you for all or part of their apprenticeship.
