What we do

The Trust offers apprenticeships in plumbing & gasfitting;  drainlaying and roofing to New Zealand citizens and anyone with permanent residency.  The recruitment process and selection criteria are outlined in the Apprentices section of this website. 

Each apprentice is employed by the Trust on an Individual Fixed Term Employment Agreement.  Their employment ends when they complete all requirements of either the NZQA National Certificates in Plumbing & Gasfitting, or the  NZQA National Certificate in Drainlaying, or the NZQA National Certificate in Roofing.

Each apprentice is sub contracted to a registered tradesperson, known as the "host" employer who undertakes to train the apprentice on the job.
